@everyone Thinkers Thursday: “Ubi Sunt?” - Harvard Review Article Hello Thinkers, This week, we turn to a quiet but powerful essay from Harvard Review titled “Ubi Sunt?”—a Latin phrase that roughly means “Where are they now?” It’s a meditation on memory, family, and the fleeting nature of life, told through the lens of the author reflecting on old family photographs. In a world that moves fast and often forgets, this piece invites us to pause. To remember. And to ask: What will remain of us? What kind of legacy do we leave—not just professionally, but personally? The author writes: “The images were fading, but the feelings remained vivid—proof that presence lingers even in absence.” 🗣️ Let’s think together: What does legacy mean to you? Is it what we build? Who we love? The impact we leave in others’ lives? Have you ever found an old photo, letter, or object that suddenly brought back a flood of memory or meaning? What do you want to be remembered for? 💬 Drop your reflections below. This is a space for depth, vulnerability, and vision. 🪞 “Ubi Sunt?” challenges us to honor the past—not to dwell in it, but to draw strength and wisdom from it. ✍️ Read the full article here: https://www.harvardreview.org/content/ubi-sunt/?utm_source=chatgpt.com
